Usually, a Terrier taking on a Hornet would be a rather easy fight to call. This time, though, both teams come into the match in a poor run of form – neither winning in four and five, respectively. Huddersfield need a result big time – can they get it here?
Home News
For the home side, the loss of some very important players is a kick in the teeth. Jonathan Hogg, Eias Kachunga and Danny Williams all miss out. They’ll be looking to Danish powerhouse Philip Billing to come into the side and offer something in the middle of the park.
Jon Stankovic, having barely taken part in the campaign, could finally be back in the first team. With injuries mounting up and a small squad to begin with, we expect coach David Wagner to stick with a similar team to the one which played last time out.

Away News
Watford are missing a good few players themselves. Nathaniel Chalobah, Tom Cleverley, Gerard Deulofeu and Younes Kaboul will all miss out. Christian Kabasele is likely to be a doubt, too, forcing further pressure on Javi Gracia. With Richarlison likely to come back into the side, though, the Hornets will be hoping for some attacking impetus.
With the defensive frailty, we expect the Hornets to go for a more counter-attacking line-up. Add in the poor form of Huddersfield themselves, and hitting a weak defence on the break would make most sense. After last weekend's loss, though, any positive result would be much appreciated.
Match-up to watch
With Steve Mounie the Terriers’ top scorer, we expect him to make a positive impact on this match. The frail defence of Sebastian Prodl and Adrian Mariappa should give the Hornets pause for concern, especially with the midfield runs of Aaron Mooy and Alex Pritchard.
