While Brighton and Hove Albion might be more or less safe, the visit of Manchester United gets the blood pumping. Without any notable major wins at the Amex Stadium this year, though, we could see Brighton really go for it here against a United side with one eye on the cup final.
Home News
There’s no real problems for Chris Houghton to contend with. The loss of Steve Sidwell is one thing, but the midfielder has not kicked a ball in the Premier League for Brighton. With ex-PSV man Davy Propper back in the side after suspension, it would be no surprise to see him right back into the side for Brighton.
Alongside ex-PSV teammate Jurgen Locadia, Propper will be looking for a landmark moment to mark his first season in the Premier League. For Brighton, though, there’s no reason to expect much rotation after a fairly settled side in recent weeks.

Away News
Meanwhile, for United, Romeu Lukaku joins Phil Jones as likely to miss out on this one alongside Eric Bailly. This leaves Jose Mourinho without this first-pick striker and his two main defenders. This could see United rotate heavily, with no risks needed at this late junction of the season.
Phil Jones sat out against Arsenal, so we could see Chris Smalling partnered in the middle with Victor Lindelof. While Bailly could still make it, it would be a surprise to see United risk a player who has suffered with his fair share of injuries since he arrived in England.
Match-up to Watch
The main match-up that we expect to see play a role here is how United deal with the wings. The pace of Anthony Knockaert and Jose Izquierdo will certainly pose a threat, as well as full-backs Gaetan Bong and Ezequiel Schelotto. If United can keep them quiet, though, they should do just fine in Brighton.
