If there was ever a game that Huddersfield needed to find a result, it’s this. Three points and three places separate the two newly promoted sides. For Brighton, the win can wait – but Huddersfield need to create a gap between themselves and the bottom of the table.
Home News
The home side know they can rely upon the form of the excellent Pascal Gross, Glenn Murray and Jose Izquierdo to see them over the line. While many of their top performances has come from defensive pairing Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy, it’s the goals of Murray that have helped put them in a positive position in the league.
A lack of firepower has often been the problem, though, as evidenced best by the lack of form of new signing Jurgen Locadia. If Brighton are to win, it’ll likely be smash and grab.

Away News
The Terriers are in desperate need of some goals. Despite the awful form of the likes of Laurent Depoitre and the drop-off of Aaron Mooy in the second half of the season, Huddersfield have a squad well capable of getting a win here.
Their aggressive defensive style alongside the positive mix of Terrence Kongolo and Christopher Schindler should help them get out of here with something. Defensively, the pair are relatively solid and should provide some kind of platform for them to launch attacks from. If they are to win, the combination of Alex Pritchard, Aaron Mooy and Laurent Depoitre will play a role. The ex-Porto striker needs to find form soon, though.
Key Match-Up
How Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy handle the pairing of Pritchard and Depoitre will be very important. This feels like it will be a fast and frantic game, with the winner decided by who can take most risks.
