PSG's Senny Mayulu Set to Sign First Professional Contract

Paris Saint-Germain's commitment to nurturing homegrown talent has taken a significant step forward with the impending signing of Senny Mayulu's first professional contract. The 17-year-old winger, who recently made his second appearance for the first team in PSG's 4-1 victory over FC Lorient, has attracted interest from clubs like Borussia Dortmund as his previous contract approached its expiration.

However, reports from L'Équipe indicate that Mayulu is on the verge of committing his future to PSG. Although the deal is not finalized yet, an agreement has been reached, and the talented France U19 international is expected to sign imminently.

Mayulu's impending contract signing underscores PSG's renewed focus on nurturing local talent, following in the footsteps of Warren Zaïre-Emery, who broke into the first team at the age of 16. With his commitment, PSG can now shift their attention to securing the future of another promising youngster, Joane Gadou, whose youth contract expires in 2025.
