What can I say about Aris in the basketball. The club is on a difficult financial situation due to some matters but the fact that a legend of the greek basketball coach Giannakis on the bench helps a lot. I do not think that Aris this season can expect sth good apart from having a good performance. In the last game won Panionios in Athens but since I watched the game I was really disappointed by Panionios. No defence at all and Aris won due to this. In Europe Aris lost easily in France. Aris despite the problems which faces has some good and experienced players. Athinaiou, Vassilopoulos, Bohoridis (was transferred from Panathinaikos and plays really good). Pruit is also a good foreign player. Today Aris travelled without Athinaiou Both teams have records 5-6 and are one point below the play-offs line. Rethymno traditionally is strong at home games and competitive to better team than Aris. Rethhmno started very bad the season but now plays really well with some good foreigners. People of Rethymno loves the team and the fans create a hot atmosphere. I will bet on Rethymno because is on a good mood.
